In Memory Of

Puppy was a small cat who was abandoned. When she first came here, she would often arch her back and scream as if she were in heat. She might have had an ovarian cyst, but the problem went away after she was spayed.

Puppy was sweet and friendly and loved attention and lap time. She had chronic irritable bowel syndrome, so her fur was often messy and we often had to clean and groom her. For a long time she lived in the front room of the main house, and she enjoyed going outside and socializing with visitors. Eventually we moved her to a quieter all-cats room.

Except for the irritable bowel syndrome, Puppy was healthy and lived to a very old age. She eventually became very thin because the IBS made it difficult to absorb nutrients. She passed away suddenly, probably due to complications of old age.
