In Memory Of

Marni

April, 2013

Marni came to Journey's End along with Remy, Kitty Boy, and Purrzy. They belonged to a lady in South Florida who developed Alzheimer's and could no longer care for them. She had 14 cats total, but she didn't notice when her daughter brought these 4 to Journey's End.

Marni was a domestic long hair, around 8 years old when she arrived. She looked like a Maine coon cat, although we don't know if she had any of that lineage. She had 6 toes on each front paw. She was Remy's sister, and they were very close.

Marni was very shy when she arrived and would run away if approached, but after many months, she became much more at ease. She was very friendly with people she knew, and would start purring loudly as soon as she saw them. Like Remy, she liked to rub up against the other cats, which sometimes caused them to get upset, and she would give love bites when petted.
