In Memory Of

February, 2016

Fireball was a stray cat who was being cared for by a lady who had to go to jail. While she was gone, neighbors took over caring for Fireball. The lady's house burned down while she was in jail, and Fireball was rescued near the burning house. Her fur smelled of smoke, and she no doubt had breathed in some smoke, but she was otherwise uninjured.

Fireball was very underweight when she arrived, although she had a bloated belly, possibly because she was given too much food all at once when she was rescued. She also had ticks. She was a young adult when she arrived, and she quickly got back to a healthy weight.

Fireball lived in the Cat House. She was shy at first, and she was never much of a lap cat, but she enjoyed attention and petting.
